The following are the rules for Ventrilo, which apply to all members, admins, and guests to go into effect immediately:

1) Spammers will be auto banned by the server.

2) An Adult Channel exists. Use it. If you're going to engage in any language or conversations which may be suspect, (you all know what I'm referring to), do it in the adult channel.

3) Foul language or suspect conversations not held in the adult channel will be moved to the Adult Channel. If not it's up to an admin to remind those involved or move them.

4) Anyone not properly utilizing the adult channel, that is, if you don't belong there and are there, will be kicked and then banned for a repeat offense.

5) Please show the proper respect towards others in ventrilo. We all know when we go over the line, don't do it.

6) There is a 15 second cap on conversation, after which you will be cut off. If necessary it will be changed to 10 seconds. Aside from serious conversations there's no need to go on and on and repeat ourselves. I've gotten several complaints.

7) Extraneous noises are not needed, i.e. someone using a device to illegally use something they should not be using. I don't want to hear it and I've gotten several complaints. Again, this goes back to younger ears.

8) Phonetics should be kept to a minimum. They're fun at times and throw humor in. Let's not abuse them or go nuts unless everyone in the channel is OK with it. I've created a channel for such tomfoolery. Again, I've received complaints.


It's not the intent to regulate speech. However, we are getting some very young players in Ventrilo who have taken the time to register and get the password. Recently some have had to be reminded that there are younger folks in the channel. <TNT> is not a religious organization and we don't push anything on anyone, however, there are some basic things we should be doing that we've gotten away from.
