When I try to start up my computer it acts like its starting up but after about 15 seconds it turns off and boots up again this repeats until I turn it off. Its like its just running. Nothing shows up on my monitor not even the F8 to enter BIOS, I tried to boot off my windows 7 CD but it restarts. Iv removed my sound card and tried to boot up but it still just restarts. I re seated my video card still it just restarts. I think something has gone wrong with the HD. Any suggestions?

doesnt sound like a bad drive. you will almost always hear a clicking sound coming from a bad HDD. are you getting a beep code when it starts up? if so how many beeps. is it a newly built PC? did it work before? F8 is to get into the windows boot option window. restart and try hitting DEL or F2 to get into BIOS. see if it is recognizing your drives. to boot from a live cd (windows install/ubuntu install cd) go into your BIOS and change the boot options so your CD rom boots first. before you try any of that though open the case and make sure your CPU heat sink is firmly seated, and that the fan and heatsink are working and dust free. without more info thats all i can think of right now.im leaving work right now. when i get home ill see if there is anything else i can recommend.
i just looked your post over again. you say nothing is showing on your screen? does it even turn on? you can try taking out the bios battery. it will reset your bios. just pop it out. with it out try turning on the PC to drain the capacitor. then pop it back in and try booting up. i hope it helps. if not ill be home in a bit and im sure we can figure it out.

It dose not beep. It wont even get to the bios area/screen so I am unable to hit F8 or DEL, my heatsink is working fine. I don't have another video card to try. Ill see if I can make a video and post it tomorrow.
All it dose is acts like it is starting up but it dose nothing. When I looked at the HD light on the front of my case it only blinks like 2-3 times for about 1 sec

Beep codes tell all. But you have to have a system speaker conected. If you have one connected then do like I said and reset your bios by popping out the battery on the mobo. Then tr it again. If you get no beep then it's your power supply or mobo. I understand what Ehidden is saying about no video posting but then you would get a beep code of 1 long 2 short. But it couldn't hurt to reseat your vid card.
If you google pc beep codes you will see what I'm saying. It's the first thing any tech would check for a hardwAre problem. Sorry about the spelling. On my phone, and the iPhone sux donkey junk when it comes to auto check.

I'm thinking there's an issue with your mobo, especially if it's a new build. That's a beast of a machine by the way. Sounds like you may have a bad one. It does happen from time to time on a new build.
