I just got my new router hooked up and configured. I know nothing about this stuff. (Thanks to ehidden and JSG for the tips in ventrilo). Are these decent speeds nowadays?

Yeah my old router was something like 2 or 3 down and less than 1 up. What that shows is roughly the same or better than no router in between. And Broadstripe is a godawful company. The way things work here you have no competition and no choice in utilities. You get whoever gets the franschise from the local government in your area. There's alot of corruption in the system and I think they did it on purpose.
